THE FALLOW DEER

The fallow deer-mollo-parcScientific name: (Cervus elaphus)

In-between the red deer and the roe deer, the fallow deer is a rustic animal from the Cervidae family. The Romans reintroduced them after conquering Gaul. They are in heat between the early autumn and the end of September, their gestation lasts 8 months and they only give birth to one single fawn.
